Whether it's a passing interest or a real career option, students with an aptitude for Math, Music, or Language generally do well in Computer Programming. So, if you're one of these people take the Computer Programming I course. By the end of the first course you'll know if it's something you want to pursue.

Several students and parents have inquired about purchasing a copy of Macromedia Dreamweaver. Macromedia Studio is the suite of programs that includes Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and Flash. As of 10/14/2004, Macromedia Studio 8 (the newest version) sells commercially for MSRP $999. If you're still interested in purchasing, shop around! Surely there are discounts available (educational, etc.). If anyone finds a good price, please let me know so I can include that information here.

• A student informed me that the ASU Bookstore has copies of Dreamweaver and student discounts apply. I do not know if you must be an ASU student to get the discount. Definitely call and make sure before traveling to Boone.
• Visit the Macromedia department of JourneyEd.com for prices as low as $279.98 for Studio 8 and $199.98 for Dreamweaver 8! Use Priority Codes GRADPLS and GR55 for more discounts.
